Dr. Madhavi Rao
Lead Mentor, Logic Sanctuary
Dr. Madhavi Rao is an applied mathematician, computational scientist, and educator with over 15 years of experience in mathematics teaching, mentoring, and research.
She holds a Ph.D. in Mathematics from Bangalore University and has spent over 11 years associated with the Indian Institute of Science (IISc), Bengaluru, as a Visiting Student during her doctoral research and later as a Post-Doctoral Researcher. She has taught postgraduate mathematics, mentored student research projects, and worked in applied mathematics and scientific computing.
Her academic work includes research publications, national fellowships, and recognition such as selection as a Summer Research Fellow by the Indian Academy of Sciences.
Logic Sanctuary grew from these years of teaching, research, and observing how children experience mathematics. It was created from the conviction that many children struggle with mathematics not because they lack ability, but because fear, self-doubt, and repeated negative experiences can influence how they learn.

Our MissionToo many children grow up believing that mathematics simply isn't for them. Logic Sanctuary exists to change that—one child at a time. We believe the problem is rarely the child. More often, it is the child's experience with mathematics, shaped by pressure, comparison, fear of failure, and teaching methods that do not recognise how each child thinks and learns.When a child feels understood, confidence begins to grow. And when confidence grows, mathematics begins to make sense.
What Logic Sanctuary is NOT
We are NOT a tuition or coaching centre.We are NOT focused on marks or ranks.We are NOT a quick-fix or magic solution.We are NOT a one-size-fits-all programme.We are NOT therapy or medical treatment.
We focus on understanding first, because confidence comes before performance. Our goal is to help every child build a healthier, more confident relationship with mathematics.
