Logic Sanctuary ("we," "us," or "our") is committed to protecting the privacy of its users. We recognise that the information shared with us, particularly information relating to a child, is personal in nature and warrants careful, respectful, and responsible handling. This Privacy Policy ("Policy") describes the categories of information we collect, the purposes for which such information is collected and used, and the rights available to you in respect thereof. By accessing Logic Sanctuary's website or enrolling in any Logic Sanctuary programme, you signify your acceptance of, and consent to, the practices described in this Policy.
1. Information Collected
Depending on the services availed, Logic Sanctuary may collect the following categories of information:
(a) Parent or Guardian Information
- Name
- E-mail address
- City or country of residence (where provided)
(b) Student Information
- First name
- Grade or Class
- Age (where applicable)
- Responses submitted during the ROOTS Reflection
- Reflections, observations, and information voluntarily shared during discussions
(c) Technical Information
Logic Sanctuary may automatically collect certain technical information upon a user's access to its website, including browser type, device information, Internet Protocol (IP) address, website usage statistics, and data collected through cookies and similar technologies.
2. Purpose and Use of Information
Information collected by Logic Sanctuary is used solely for the purpose of providing and improving its services, including:
- The ROOTS Reflection Questionnaire;
- Preparing the client's personalised ROOTS Report;
- Scheduling sessions;
- Communicating in respect of appointments;
- Delivering ROOTS PLUS consultations;
- Delivering the NURTURING mentoring programme;
- Improving Logic Sanctuary's educational resources and services; and
- Responding to enquiries and support requests.
Logic Sanctuary does not use collected information for the purpose of unsolicited marketing communications.
3. Children's Privacy
Logic Sanctuary's services are designed for engagement by parents and their children jointly. A child shall participate in Logic Sanctuary's services only with the knowledge and consent of a parent or legal guardian.
Logic Sanctuary collects only such information relating to a minor as is reasonably necessary to provide its educational services and exercises heightened care in the collection, storage, and handling of information relating to minors, consistent with applicable law, including the Digital Personal Data Protection Act, 2023 and rules made thereunder.
4. Disclosure of Information
Logic Sanctuary does not sell, rent, or trade any personal information of its users.
Information may be disclosed only in the following circumstances:
- to trusted third-party service providers engaged to assist in the operation of Logic Sanctuary's services, including scheduling and secure payment processing providers;
- where disclosure is required under applicable law, regulation, or a valid order of a competent authority; or
- with the explicit, informed permission of the data principal (or, in the case of a minor, their parent or legal guardian).
5. Data Security and Retention
Logic Sanctuary implements reasonable administrative, technical, and organisational measures designed to safeguard personal information against unauthorised access, disclosure, alteration, or loss.
Notwithstanding the foregoing, no method of transmission over the internet or electronic storage is entirely secure, and Logic Sanctuary cannot guarantee absolute security of information transmitted to or stored by it.
Logic Sanctuary retains personal information, including information relating to a child, for a period of one (1) year from the date of collection or from the conclusion of the relevant engagement, whichever is later, or until earlier deletion is requested in accordance with Clause 8, save where a longer period is required to comply with applicable law.
6. Payment Information
Payments are made by the client directly, by way of a UPI QR code shared by Logic Sanctuary via e-mail, into a bank account maintained by Logic Sanctuary. Logic Sanctuary does not use a separate payment gateway for this purpose and does not itself collect, process, or store debit card, credit card, or other card payment credentials; UPI payments are transmitted through the client's own banking or payment application in accordance with the security protocols established by the National Payments Corporation of India (NPCI) and the client's bank.
7. Cookies and Tracking Technologies
Logic Sanctuary's website may employ cookies and similar tracking technologies to improve website functionality, analyse visitor behaviour, and enhance the browsing experience. Users may disable cookies through their browser settings, though doing so may affect certain website functionalities.
8. Rights of the Data Principal
Subject to applicable law, a user (or, in respect of a minor, their parent or legal guardian) may contact Logic Sanctuary to:
- request access to personal information held by Logic Sanctuary;
- request correction of inaccurate or incomplete information;
- request erasure of personal information, where legally permissible;
- withdraw consent to the processing of personal data at any time, by writing to us at logicsanctuary@gmail.com,
and Logic Sanctuary shall address such requests within a reasonable time and in accordance with applicable law.
9. Amendments to this Policy
Logic Sanctuary reserves the right to amend this Policy from time to time. Any amendment shall be published on this page together with a revised "last updated" date, and shall take effect from the date of such publication.
10. Governing Law and Jurisdiction
This Policy shall be governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of India, and any dispute arising hereunder shall be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the courts at Bengaluru, Karnataka.
